Reflection

This project was revolutionary assignment. Teaching and being taught is slowly moving out of the 20th century and into the 21st. The thing liked i liked most about this assignment, is that the 4 parts flowed well together. A thing i didn't like about this assignment was our blogs were given path trough questions( http://sites.google.com/site/shshumanitiesworldliterature/Home/blog-assignments ), it should show what we're doing daily through the weeks before the assignments. Some of the question should be kept since they are essential, like number 1 and 3. All other blogs should branch from question 1 and 3.

The Pain

After a exhausting soccer practice. I arrived home to practice, the presentation i have to give tomorrow. I feel well prepared, but i also feel confused about the compare and contrast part. I'm also confident because, I'm not the first one presenting, I will have time to get the gist of presenting through my fellow peers, WISH ME LUCK.

Narrowing It Down

In The past couple of days it has gotten tough doing a whole set of paintings. So I have narrowed it to a single painting of Pablita Velarde, "Basket Dance". Since i have completed the written description for it already.

Slide Show, Photoshop

Today I started the final step of the "Human Form In Art Project". I'm using the, Presentation format of Google Docs. For a well taken picture of Pablita Velarde, i searched the Interweb using Google. The only picture worthy of my presentation was, a picture with a websites address posted on the bottem right corner of it, so I used Photoshop on the school computer and deleted the web address.

I've also started writing note cards, for the presentation, which is the only part I like, since its the last one.

"Pineda over Class", and "Describe Describe"

Yesterday, for lunch I attended a Mexican Food establishment. I waited for about 15 minutes for the people in front of me, to choose off the Menu. When I got to the front I order a BCR burrito with Guac and chips on the side. When I walked out of the restaurant, I noticed I only had 5 mins to walk back to School. When I arrived at South High there were only 3 minutes left for me to eat lunch, so I walked into to the media center and asked to eat my lunch outside the room, which I spent doing 20 minutes of the class.

Today I'm taking time in class to finish Writing the Description for the two of the Pablita Velarde. At home I'm going to finish the slides so I can catch up with my peers

Discovery, and the downside of the internet

It was hard to find the names of Paintings. It took me almost 30 minutes of this class to find a good picture with a name showing the human form. As I expected most of Pablita's paintings future scenes of traditional southwestern Native American life. This makes it hard to pin-point a certain painting, so i'm going to do a collection of similar ones.

Yahoo con Pablita Velarde

Today like many of my classmates who are Google fans, I used Yahoo and other search engines to find the "Human Form In Art"; on the Internet. To be immature, all mature pics were blocked. PERV!!!. Yahoo, worked well even though I prefer Google. More of the content I wanted popped up like the picture to the right. I have chosen the works of Pablita Velarde, which is as far as i have gotten on this project. Lets hope the rest goes well.
